Tote Tracker — unofficial, fan-made. Not affiliated with Trader Joe's. Last updated 2026.
Tote Tracker is a community map of Trader Joe's tote availability. We try to collect as little as possible, and to be transparent about it. In this build, everything below is stored only in your own browser (localStorage + one cookie); a future server version would send reports to a backend to share them between users.
tt_id cookie + localStorage) so the same device isn't counted twice when confirming a status. It is not linked to your name.Photos you add are downscaled in your browser and (in this build) stored on your device. If you share a "Got mine!" image, it's created on your device and shared only when you choose to.
If you send feedback, your message (and an email only if you provide one) is delivered to the team through a third-party form relay. We send only your message, optional email, the page URL, and a timestamp — no device or location data.
To understand how the site is used we may run Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless measurement tool. It records aggregate traffic only (page views, referrers, country/region, browser and device type, page-load performance). It sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier, and does not follow you across other sites.
We may also use Google Analytics 4 to measure feature usage (e.g. that a store page was opened or a report was submitted) — never the content of your reports, your notes, your email, or your precise location. When on, it is IP-anonymized with ad/cross-device signals disabled.
Both honor your browser's Do-Not-Track signal, and you can opt out on this device at any time
(running ttAnalyticsOptOut() in the browser console disables both; “Reset everything on
this device” also stops tracking).
Use “Reset everything on this device” in the app's ⓘ menu to erase your ID, reports, photos, watch-list, and preferences. Clearing site data in your browser does the same.
